Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith has said, there is an apprehension of spreading black money keeping ahead the next parliament election. Bangladesh Bank should be alert in this regard.
Besides he suggested the banks to remain alert on sanctioning loans.
The Finance Minister urged these while delivering speech at the annual business conference of Rupali Bank at Osmani Memorial Auditorium in the capital on Sunday.
In his speech of chief guest Muhith said, there is criticism over the banking sector and that will be. But the capital will be provided to the government banks from the budget.
He said, there is apprehension of spreading black money in the year of election. So the banks should also be alert over loan distribution.
The Finance Minister also said, the deposit of Rupali Bank will be raised in the next budget. He emphasized on turning Rupali Bank into profitable stage by the year 2018.
State Minister for Finance MA Mannan also spoke on the occasion.
