Jatiya Oikyafront has sent letter seeking appointment of President Md. Abdul Hamid on December 17.
The letter was sent seeking appointment of the President at Bangabhaban at 4 pm on December 17 for the Oikyafront leaders signed by BNP Chairperson’s Personal Secretary ABM Abdus Sattar.
The letter was sent to the President’s office at Bangabhaban on December 13, confirmed BNP media wing officer Shayrul Kabir Khan.
It is known that 10 members of the alliance including Gono Forum president and alliance leader Dr. Kamal Hossain will meet the president.
A BNP source said, to make the eleventh national parliament election free-neutral and to stop attack, case and harassment over the leaders and activists of opposition political alliance they sought for the appointment. Besides, they will seek remedy after informing the President about the cases filed and attacks originated against the opposition leaders after declaring the election schedule.
