In a rare personal outreach, Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Chairman Tarique Rahman stepped out onto the street in front of his Gulshan political office on Thursday to listen to the grievances of job seekers registered with the Non-Government Teachers’ Registration and Certification Authority (NTRCA).

The encounter took place around 3:30 pm when Tarique Rahman arrived at the office from his residence.

Upon seeing the aspirants waiting outside, he immediately exited the office premises, crossed the road on foot, and exchanged greetings with the demonstrators.

Standing among the crowd, the BNP Chairman listened as the job seekers detailed their frustrations regarding the recruitment process in non-government educational institutions.

The candidates raised serious allegations of "secret recruitments," claiming that unregistered teachers were being appointed to vacant posts behind the scenes.

The protesters also highlighted structural flaws in the appointment process for head teachers, asserting that these ongoing irregularities have caused widespread dissatisfaction among qualified NTRCA-registered candidates.
