General Waker-Uz-Zaman, the Chief of Army Staff, paid a courtesy call on Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus on Monday at the Chief Adviser’s Office (CAO) in the capital's Tejgaon area.

During the meeting, the two leaders exchanged greetings and held brief discussions regarding the Army's responsibilities and operations during the interim government's mandate.

Professor Yunus took the opportunity to express his sincere gratitude to the Army Chief for the steadfast cooperation provided by the Bangladesh Army.

He specifically commended their critical support during the recently concluded national parliament elections, acknowledging their role in maintaining stability throughout the transition.
