Saudi Ambassador to Bangladesh Dr. Abdullah Zafer H. Bin Abiyah paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Tarique Rahman at the Cabinet Division in the Bangladesh Secretariat.

According to the Prime Minister’s Press Secretary Saleh Shibli, the meeting commenced on Sunday around 11 am.

During the audience, the Prime Minister conveyed his "respectful regards to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, His Majesty King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, as well as to His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia."

The high-level discussion focused on strengthening the "existing friendly relations and issues of mutual interest between the two brotherly Muslim nations."

A key agenda item included coordination for the upcoming Hajj season, ensuring smooth proceedings for Bangladeshi pilgrims.

Earlier in the morning, the Prime Minister arrived at his Cabinet Division office at approximately 9:05 am, where he was received by his Principal Secretary, ABM Abdus Sattar.
