Bangladesh has expressed 'deep concern' over the safety of its nationals residing in the Middle East following the recent military strikes in Iran and the surrounding region.

In an official statement issued Sunday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs warned that the continuation of hostilities poses a grave threat to regional peace, stability, and the lives of civilian populations.

The government strongly condemned the violation of sovereignty in several regional nations—including Bahrain, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates—stressing that respect for territorial integrity is essential for lasting security.

Dhaka has called upon all involved parties to exercise "maximum restraint" and urged a swift return to diplomatic channels to resolve existing differences.

Expressing hope for an immediate de-escalation, the statement emphasized that "calm must prevail at the earliest" to restore security and stability across the Middle East.
