On the occasion of International Women’s Day, the German Embassy in Dhaka has issued a strong message reaffirming its unwavering commitment to gender equality and the protection of women's rights worldwide.

Highlighting the universal nature of human rights, the Embassy stated, "Human rights are not a limited resource; they do not shrink when shared."

The diplomatic mission emphasized that empowering women is not merely a localized goal but a cornerstone of global progress, adding, "If women enjoy 100% of their rights, it benefits 100% of humanity."

The Embassy further articulated that advancing gender equality is an essential prerequisite for sustaining democracy, fostering economic development, and ensuring lasting peace.
