Bangladeshi Killed in Houthi Attack in Saudi Arabia

A Bangladeshi national was killed after a airstrike launched by the Houthis on an Aramco facility in Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province, the foreign ministry said today (Monday).

The deceased was identified as Sajib Hossain, a resident of Cumilla district.

The attack took place on October 4 in the Al Khurais area, according to a foreign ministry press release.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed deep deep shock over the death and strongly condemned the attack.
It also conveyed sincere condolences to the bereaved family and relatives of the deceased.

The Bangladesh Embassy in Saudi Arabia has already contacted Sajib’s family members and employer and is providing necessary assistance.

The embassy is also coordinating with the relevant Saudi authorities to complete the required formalities and arrange repatriation of the body to Bangladesh, the press release said.
