Harmful ingredients in milk: Milk Vita terms DU report baseless

The Milk Vita authority has termed the report of pharmacy department of Dhaka University as false, baseless and motivated. The report said that there were harmful ingredients in Milk Vita’s milk and milk products.

The information was delivered by Managing Director of Milk Vita Md. Delwar Hossain at Milk Vita office at Tejgaon in the capital on Saturday.

He said, the report of Dhaka University about harmful ingredients in Milk Vita’s milk and milk made products is false, baseless and motivated.

He also said, as pharmacy department of Dhaka University refused to take the responsibility so preparations are going on to file case against concerned persons. He also upheld seven-point recommendations to protect the cooperative farmers of milk industry by imposing 10 to 25 percent tax on imported milk power.
