Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina urged the new generation to take the responsibility so that anyone cannot play evil games in future with the fate of people of the country like Mir Zafar, Mostaq and Zia. She also alleged that Zia tried to erase the name of Bangabandhu by creating false history after the killing of father of the nation.
She said these as the chief guest at a discussion on the occasion of martyred intellectual day at Krishibid Institutions in the capital on Saturday.
The premier said, sensing their defeat in the liberation war the Pakistani occupation forces killed the greatest sons of the nation to turn the country brainless. What the martyred wanted to say after overcoming all hurdles and when Bangladesh is saying that- in this particular time the discussion has been arranged.
Upholding the main aim of the hateful killings Sheikh Hasina said, Mostaq appointed Ziaur Rahman as the army chief because he was involved in the killing of father of the nation. Zia tried to erase the name of Bangabandhu from the history.
The Prime Minister urged the youth society to take the responsibility so that nobody can play evil game in future with the fate of the nation.
The head of the government also alleged that BNP, the bearer of killings and corruption, wanted to turn the nation as brainless through hand over of arms to the students.
