Chief Advisor Professor Muhammad Yunus performed the Eid-ul-Fitr prayers at the National Eidgah ground on Monday at 8:30 am. Later in the day, at 4:00 pm, he will exchange Eid greetings with people from various professions at the Chief Advisor's Office in Tejgaon.
On Sunday (March 30), the Chief Advisor's Press Wing confirmed in a press release that he would meet and exchange greetings with individuals from different backgrounds on the afternoon of Eid day.
The main Eid congregation at the National Eidgah was held at 8:30 am, attended by Supreme Court judges, members of the Advisory Council, politicians, and people from all walks of life.
Mufti Mohammad Abdul Malek, the Khatib of Baitul Mukarram National Mosque, led the congregation as the Imam, with Muazzin Muhammad Habibur Rahman serving as the Qari.
Strict security measures were implemented for the main Eid congregation. Senior officials from law enforcement agencies oversaw the security arrangements and assured the public of a safe environment.
