The final results of the 44th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examination will be published by June 30, according to Mobasher Monem, Chairman of the Public Service Commission (PSC).
Speaking at the PSC's anniversary event on Tuesday, he stated that efforts are being made to conclude the 44th BCS as swiftly as possible. He confirmed that the viva exams will be completed by June 17, after which the results will be promptly prepared, with the final results expected to be announced by June 30.
He also emphasized, "The PSC has evolved into a modern, technology-driven, and transparent institution. We understand the importance of time and are prioritizing efficiency to ensure candidates do not have to wait too long."
The 44th BCS notification mentioned that 1,710 officers will be recruited across various cadres. This includes 250 for the Administration Cadre, 50 for the Police Cadre, 10 for the Foreign Affairs Cadre, 14 for the Ansar Cadre, 30 for the Audit and Accounts Cadre, 11 for the Tax Cadre, 8 for the Cooperative Cadre, 7 for the Railway Transport and Commerce Cadre, 10 for the Information Cadre, 23 for the Post Cadre, 6 for the Commerce Cadre, 27 for the Family Planning Cadre, 3 for the Food Cadre, 485 for the Technical Cadre, and 776 for the Education Cadre.
A total of 350,716 candidates had applied for the 44th BCS exam.
