Four people, including a child, were killed in a head-on collision between Nabil Paribahan and a mango-laden truck in Dinajpur Sadar Upazila.
The accident took place on Dinajpur-Gobindaganj regional road in Sadar upazila around 6am on Friday (July 5).
Farid Hossain, officer-in-charge of Dinajpur Kotwali Police Station, confirmed the information to Rtv.
He said a coach of Nabil Paribahan collided head-on with a mango-laden truck at Chakrampur village in the morning. Truck driver Hasu (40) and unidentified helper of Nabil were killed on the spot. The injured were taken to Dinajpur M Abdur Rahim Medical College Hospital. Two people, including an unidentified child, died while undergoing treatment at the hospital. Twenty-eight injured people are undergoing treatment at the hospital.
