About 29 police stations in the capital have started operations with the help of members of the military from this morning, almost four days after the fall of the Sheikh Hasina government based on the quota movement. Army personnel are engaged in assisting the policemen in the police stations.

Members of the army and police gave this information in a press conference at Tejgaon police station on Friday (August 9) at 11 am.

At that time, the company commander of the army's 25 East Bengal Regiment Shakhawat Khondokar said that there was a huge flow of people that day (August 5). It was becoming difficult to control them. As criminals are killing common people and policemen, we have decided that the police station is an important establishment, and policemen should be saved. They are public servants, they should be given a chance to reform again. Apart from this, there are hundreds of families and policemen at the Tejgaon police station. There are many weapons in the police station. The country will be in extreme danger if they get that. Then we made arrangements to strengthen the security of the police station.
