A blockade is underway in the three hill districts of Khagrachari, Rangamati, and Bandarban following clashes between hill people and Bengalis. The blockade, named "CHT Blockade," began at 6 AM on Saturday.

As a result, no long-distance vehicles are operating in these three districts. On Friday, a group called "Agitated Jumma Students" announced the 72-hour blockade.

Meanwhile, in Rangamati, the Transport Owners' Association has called for an indefinite strike in protest of buses, trucks, and CNG-powered autorickshaws being set on fire. This strike also started on Saturday morning, causing significant inconvenience for the general public.

So far, four people have been killed in clashes between hill people and Bengalis in Khagrachari and Rangamati. At least 72 others have been injured, and incidents of arson have also been reported during the clashes.
