Dhaka, the capital, is shrouded in dense fog. Along with it, a chilly breeze is making the cold more noticeable. Despite the passage of time, the sun remains hidden. However, due to relatively higher temperatures, the intensity of the cold feels less severe compared to other days.
On Tuesday (February 11) morning, similar scenes were observed in Karwan Bazar, Tejgaon, Mohakhali, Uttara, the airport area, Khilkhet, and the surrounding regions.
A field visit revealed that the combination of mild cold and dense fog has impacted daily life in the capital. Moderate to dense fog was visible across these areas. From early morning till sunrise, the fog was so thick that even in daylight, distant objects were not clearly visible. However, as the day progressed, the situation improved slightly. Yet, the cold felt somewhat more intense than usual.
