Three Tourists Drown, Two Missing at Cox's Bazar Beach

Three tourists died and two others remain missing after going for a swim in the sea in the Himchhari area of Cox's Bazar.

The incident occurred on Wednesday (October 21) at the beach adjacent to the Marina Resort museum.

Ramu Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md. Zillur Rahman confirmed the news, stating that a group of tourists entered the water near the Himchhari Marina Resort museum, where they were swept away by strong waves and currents.

Locals managed to rescue one person alive and rushed them to a hospital.

He added that the bodies of three tourists were recovered from the scene, while two others are still missing. Police are currently conducting a search and rescue operation to locate them.
