Legal notice to Rapper Aly Hasan for 'Nana-Nati' song
A song titled 'Nana-Nati' was released on Eid-ul-Adha. And since its release, it has been well received by the audience. But there is controversy. Because, one of the lines of the song says, 'In the current court, judgment runs by the notes.'
Following this line, Assistant Public Prosecutor (PP) Advocate Fahim Hasnain of Sherpur District Judge Court sent a legal notice to rapper Aly Hasan.
The legal notice was sent by registry post on Wednesday (June 19).
Later on Thursday (June 20) Advocate Fahim Hasnain confirmed the matter.
The song 'Nana-Nati' performed by Aly Hasan and Marzuk Russell, was published on a YouTube channel on June 16. It was written by Aly Hasan, with music composed by both Aly Hasan and Marzuk Russell.
The legal notice demands that the offending line 'Bortomaner Court e Bichar Chole Note e' which loosely refers to 'bribery in court' be removed from the song within 15 days.
Fahim Hasnain said, as a result of this line, common people's misconceptions about the country's justice system and courts arisen. As a result, there is a danger that people will lose faith in the law. So Aly Hasan, after receiving the notice, should drop that line of the song and come online live and admit the mistake and apologize to the general people.
Advocate said, if Aly Hasan does not comply within the stipulated 15 days, appropriate legal action will be taken against him in court, the notice warns.
