The 98th Academy Awards concluded Sunday night (March 15) at the Dolby Theatre, celebrating the finest achievements in global cinema.

Hosted by comedian Conan O’Brien, the ceremony saw a mix of anticipated victories and notable sweeps, with One Battle After Another and Sinners emerging as the night's biggest winners.

Major Category Winners
The acting categories highlighted powerhouse performances, with Michael B. Jordan securing the Best Actor Oscar for his role in Sinners, and Jessie Buckley taking home the Best Actress trophy.

In the supporting categories, veteran Sean Penn won Best Supporting Actor for One Battle After Another, while Amy Madigan was honored as Best Supporting Actress for Weapons.

Film and Direction
Paul Thomas Anderson was named Best Director, adding another prestigious accolade to his career. The night’s top prize, Best Picture, was awarded to One Battle After Another, which also picked up wins for Adapted Screenplay and Film Editing.
