Three additional children succumbed to measles-like symptoms nationwide over the last 24 hours, driving the overall casualty count from measles-related conditions to 925, according to official data released by the Health Emergency Operation Centre and Control Room of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

The official release noted that while no patient died from laboratory-confirmed measles during the past 24 hours, three minors died showing suspected symptoms.

Since March 15, verified measles cases have claimed 99 young lives, alongside 826 deaths attributed to suspected measles infections, accumulating to 925 casualties.

Dengue Claims 3 More Lives in 24 Hours, Death Toll Reaches 70

Health authorities identified 68 newly confirmed measles infections over the 24-hour reporting period, while 1,004 additional suspected cases were documented during the same timeframe.

Data compiled by the DGHS shows that 146,715 suspected cases of measles have been logged across the country since March 15.

Out of the overall reported cases, medical evaluations officially verified 18,144 confirmed measles infections over the identical period.
