Narendra Modi has taken oath as the Prime Minister of India for the third time in a row. At the same time several ministers and state ministers also took oath.

They took oath at the Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi on Sunday (June 9) at 8:15 PM Bangladesh time.

After the swearing in ceremony, Narendra Modi and President Draupadi Murmu called the invited guests along with Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to the stage. Then they all took pictures together.

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president JP Nadda hosted the dinner after the event. The food list was made keeping in mind the excess heat.

According to Anandabazar newspaper and NDTV, the dinner includes special vegetables of Rajasthan, dum biryani, matka kulfi, five types of juices, different types of shakes, stuffed litchi, mango cream, three types of raita, five types of bread, millet khichuri, eight types of desserts, white rasmalai and four types of Ghewar (Rajasthani sweet) was there.

It is to be noted that out of 543 seats in India's Lok Sabha elections, the ruling party BJP-led NDA coalition won 293 seats. In this, BJP alone won 240 seats. On the other hand, the Congress-led India Alliance won 232 seats, out of which the Congress won 99 seats alone.

According to the country's rules, 272 seats required to form a government.
