Biden held this meeting in Delaware, USA on Saturday (September 21).

These two world leaders emphasized bringing back normalcy in Bangladesh. This was discussed between them.

This was confirmed by Indian External Affairs Secretary Vikram Misri, according to The Indian Express.

In a social media X post about the meeting, Modi cleverly avoided the Bangladesh issue and wrote, "Our discussion was very fruitful." In the meeting, there was an opportunity to discuss various regional and global issues.

Meanwhile, on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly session in New York, Muhammad Yunus, the chief advisor of Bangladesh is scheduled to meet with Biden.

A diplomatic source in Dhaka says that there has never been such a meeting with any head of state or government of Bangladesh in the last three decades. It is rare for the President of the United States to sit separately with the Head of State during the United Nations General Assembly session.

It should be noted that Dr. Yunus is going to New York on September 23 to attend the session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA). Yunus will address the 79th session of the General Assembly on September 27.
