Two flash bombs were thrown into the garden of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's residence in the northern city of Caesarea on Saturday (November 16), local time. Reuters reported the incident on Sunday (November 17).

According to Israeli police, the flash bombs landed in the garden. However, neither Netanyahu nor his family were present at the residence during the incident, and no damage was reported.

Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant reacted strongly to the attack, stating on social media platform X, "This incident has crossed all boundaries." He further added that Netanyahu is under threat from Iran and its proxy forces, who are attempting to assassinate him. He called for immediate action by security and judicial authorities.

Israeli President Isaac Herzog also condemned the attack, writing on X that he had spoken with the head of the Shin Bet security agency and instructed a swift investigation to identify and apprehend those responsible.

Israel's National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir expressed concern, stating, "Incitement against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has crossed all limits. Today’s flash bomb attack has crossed the red line."

This incident follows a previous attack in October, when a drone targeted Netanyahu's residence. At that time, too, Netanyahu was not home, and no damage was reported.

As of now, no group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
