Ahead of the G7 summit, the international organization Oxfam delivered a powerful message against world leaders through this striking visual demonstration.

Oxfam organized this unique demonstration in the French town of Évian on the eve of the G7 summit.

Members wearing oversized masks of world leaders symbolically depicted how crucial global issues are being overlooked in G7 discussions.

The organization specifically accused the leaders of sidelining pressing matters such as climate change, human rights, and gender equality.

Cécile Duflot, Executive Director of Oxfam France, alleged that despite going through one of the most challenging periods in world history, there are no effective discussions regarding the major powers responsible for the climate crisis.

In an attempt to keep Donald Trump pleased, many critical issues are being pushed out of the agenda. She noted that other G7 nations could have taken a firmer stance on these issues if they wished.

Furthermore, since the outbreak of war in Iran, millions of people have been pushed to the brink of food insecurity. If the conflict continues, an estimated 48 million more people could face severe food shortages in the coming months.

Duflot argued that the G7 is no longer sufficient to solve global crises; rather, effective discussions on these matters are only possible on broader platforms like the G20.

Ultimately, ahead of the G7 summit, Oxfam has sent a clear message to the world's most powerful leaders: discussions must not be confined to economics and geopolitics alone; issues like climate change, human rights, and food security must be given equal priority.
