A report by the US Department of Defense has highlighted Washington's military losses in the war from the start of attacks on Iran on February 28 through June 30.

The scale of US losses in the war with Iran has come to light anew.

According to the US report, at least 52 warplanes and drones across 11 models have been destroyed or damaged in the conflict with Iran.

This list ranges from frontline fighter jets and attack aircraft to aerial refueling tankers and rescue helicopters.

The details of these losses were revealed in a report published by the Department of Defense's Inspector General.

Released on Monday, the report covers Washington's military casualties and equipment losses from the opening day of strikes on Iran (February 28) through June 30.

F-15E Fighter Jets (4 units)
At least four two-seat US F-15E fighter jets, valued at 30 million dollars each, were destroyed. These aircraft are utilized for both air-to-ground and air-to-air combat missions. On March 1, at least three of these jets were downed in Kuwait by friendly fire. The fourth jet of this model was shot down by Iran last April. Washington successfully rescued the pilots of all these aircraft.

F-35A (1 unit)
The F-35A, a highly valuable and state-of-the-art US stealth multirole fighter capable of penetrating hostile and heavily defended airspace, was damaged in an Iranian attack last March.

A-10 (1 unit)
The A-10 attack aircraft, primarily designed to provide close air support to ground infantry forces, suffered at least one loss after being downed by Iranian strikes.

KC-135 (7 units)
At least seven massive KC-135 tanker aircraft, used to extend the operational range and endurance of US warplanes through aerial refueling, were damaged or destroyed.

During a refueling mission in Iraq on March 12, one crashed, resulting in the deaths of all six crew members. Five more aircraft of this model were damaged on the ground during Iranian missile and drone strikes in Saudi Arabia. The seventh aircraft was linked to the Iraq incident and included in the overall casualty count.

E-3 Sentry (1 unit)
At least one US E-3 Sentry aircraft was damaged during Iranian attacks on Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia. This aircraft is effectively deployed for airborne early warning and control systems.

HH-60W Helicopter (1 unit)
At least one medium-category, twin-engine, four-blade military utility helicopter used for combat search and rescue missions was damaged in an Iranian attack.

MQ-4C Triton (1 unit)
The MQ-4C Triton is primarily manufactured for maritime intelligence gathering and surveillance. Valued at 240 million dollars, at least one of these high-altitude, long-endurance unmanned US surveillance aircraft (drone) crashed last April.

AH-6 Helicopters (4 units)
During a wartime search and rescue operation in Iran, US forces intentionally destroyed four AH-6 helicopters after recovery became impossible. These small, highly maneuverable helicopters are exceptionally effective in rescue operations.

AH-64 Apache (1 unit)
The AH-64 Apache is a twin-engine, four-blade attack helicopter featuring a tandem cockpit for two crew members. At least one helicopter of this model was shot down by Iranian forces near the Strait of Hormuz on June 8.

MH-60S (1 unit)
At least one US Navy MH-60S helicopter crashed in the Arabian Sea on July 1. Out of the four crew members on board, three were rescued with injuries, while the fourth was listed as missing.

MQ-9 Reaper (30 units)
The MQ-9 Reaper is highly effective for surveillance, intelligence gathering, and precision strikes. At least 30 of these long-endurance, armed US unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) have been destroyed.

The Iranian military has claimed responsibility for inflicting even greater damage on the US, including shooting down several American surveillance and attack drones near the Strait of Hormuz. Additionally, earlier this month, Tehran seized a US submersible named "Dive-LD."
