Thirteen army officers are set to be produced before the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) today regarding two separate cases involving enforced disappearances and killings in secret detention cells during the Awami League regime.
Security has been significantly tightened in and around the tribunal premises. Since Sunday morning, members of the Police, Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), and Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) have been deployed in large numbers. Intelligence personnel in plainclothes remain active in the area to monitor the situation.
