Broadcasting of Bangladesh Television (BTV) will begin from Monday in India. Information Minister Dr. Hasan Mahmud will inaugurate the broadcasting activities.

The information came through the source of information ministry on Sunday.
The broadcasting will continue through DTH platform of India’s state run television Durdarshan-DD free dish.

On this occasion an inauguration program is organized at BTV auditorium at Rampura in the capital at 3 pm on Monday. State Minister for Information Dr. Md. Murad Hasan and Indian High Commissioner in Dhaka Riva Ganguly Das will present as special guests. Information Secretary Abdul Maleque will preside over the function.
Bangladesh Television will telecast the program live.
