State Minister for primary and mass education Md. Zakir Hossain said, students of class three, four and five will be promoted to the next class based on the short syllabus sent to the educational institutions. I do not want to say it as auto pass rather students will be promoted to the next class after going through evaluation process.
He said this to the newsmen while answering questions on Thursday afternoon.
The State Minister said, as the closure of educational institutions has been extended up to December 19, so we have around 11 days in hand. If there is situation for not reopening, then we have told that concerned educational institutions will perform the evaluation process. It will be on the basis of evaluation and I am not going to term it as auto pass.
The closure of educational institutions has been extended in this coronavirus situation by one phase further. The leave was scheduled to complete on November 14, but before that on Thursday the education ministry has extended the duration till December 19.
