SSC, HSC exams on three subjects

SSC and HSC examinations were not held in due time as the incident of coronavirus transmission to human body has increased in the recent time. Education Minister Dr. Dipu Moni earlier informed about taking the examinations based on short syllabus. In this regard direction was given to the students to perform their assignments. But the government has moved away from that stance and decided to hold the SSC and HSC examinations of the year 2021 based on groups (science, humanities and commerce) under three elective subjects.

The information was delivered by Dhaka education board. In this regard a notice was issued on Monday.

The notice said, the SSC and equivalent examinations and also the HSC and equivalent examinations of the year 2021 will be held after abiding by the health guidelines on three group based elective subjects by reducing the marks and numbers.

Marks will be given by subject mapping for the fourth subject according to the registration card. In this case there will be no negative impact for the admission in higher education.

Earlier, Education Minister Dr. Dipu Moni informed in virtual press briefing that no examination will be held on compulsory subject. The examinations will be held by reducing time and marks for three elective subjects based on groups.
