RTV, the renowned private satellite television channel, has inaugurated its annual RTV RTV Correspondent Conference 2025 Kicks Off in Dhaka Conference 2025, bringing together representatives nationwide.
The event commenced at 9:00 am on Saturday, January 4, at the Bengal Conference Hall in Tejgaon, Dhaka. Over 300 representatives from different parts of the country are attending the day-long conference.
The program began with a recitation from the Quran, setting a solemn and respectful tone. Syed Ashiq Rahman, CEO of RTV, opened the conference with an inspiring speech, emphasizing the critical role and responsibilities of local representatives in modern journalism.
Shaikhul Islam Uzzal, in charge of RTV's National Desk, followed with his remarks, addressing the significance of maintaining journalistic integrity and excellence.
Throughout the day, several prominent figures from RTV will share their insights. These include Chief of News Elias Hossain, Deputy Chief of News Mamunur Rahman Khan, Head of Digital and Social Media Kabir Ahmed, Head of Mobile Journalism Delwar Hossain, and Executive News Producer Belayet Hossain, among others.

Rtv Marks 19 Years of Excellence, Steps Boldly into 20th Year
With the slogan “Today and Tomorrow,” satellite television channel Rtv launched on December 26, 2005, as the country’s fifth private TV channel. Nineteen years later, it proudly steps into its 20th year as a voice of the people.

Following that, Syed Ashiq Rahman, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of RTV, addressed the representatives with guidelines and emphasized the importance of local correspondents in journalism.
