Awami League's candidates for 300 sits in 2024 polls

Awami League has finalized party candidates for 300 seats to participate in the 12th National Parliament elections.

On Sunday (November 26) around 4:30 in the afternoon, the general secretary of the party, Obaidul Quader, announced the names of the candidates in a press conference at the party office at 23 Bangabandhu Avenue.

Obaidul Quader said that the names of candidates for the two constituencies will not be published today. One is Narayanganj-5 Constituency and another is Kushtia-2 Constituency.

Knowing that the nomination will be announced, a crowd of leaders and activists was seen in front of the central office of Awami League since this morning. Outside the office, many leaders and activists are waiting to get the nomination of their preferred candidate. There the activists are giving various slogans for the candidates.

According to the schedule, the 12th National Assembly elections will be held on January 7. This time 3 thousand 362 people bought the nomination form of Awami League.
