Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman held a strategic meeting on Tuesday with leaders and activists from the Dhaka-17 constituency to streamline election preparations and finalize grassroots outreach plans.
The upcoming 13th National Parliament Election 2026 and the Referendum is scheduled for February 12
The session, which took place at the BNP Chairperson’s Gulshan office from 11 am to 1 pm, focused specifically on the Banani Thana—one of the four key administrative areas within the Dhaka-17 seat.
Senior party figures, including Advisory Council members Abdus Salam and Dr. Farhad Halim Donor, joined the discussion alongside top leaders from Jubo Dal, Mohila Dal and Chhatra Dal.
According to Chhatra Dal General Secretary Nasiruddin Nasir, the meeting is part of a series of ongoing internal consultations to prepare for the upcoming national polls.
Tarique Rahman reportedly instructed activists to pinpoint the specific local grievances and issues faced by voters in Dhaka-17.
He assured them that the party would integrate these concerns into their official campaign promises, offering clear and actionable solutions to the electorate.
