Workers Party president Rashed Khan Menon, MP said, large scale looting took place in the lower level to the upper level in the country over the last ten years. Wheat of Test Relief (TR) was looted, bricks of the roads were looted, project money was looted, GDP money was looted and looting also took place in the mega projects.
He said these at the council of Muladi upazila Workers Party held at Shaheed Altaf Mahmud auditorium on Saturday.
At that time he also said, 14-party alliance was formed to root-out corruption from the country. Daughter of Bangabandhu Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is leading that alliance. But we could not achieve the target in last 10 years.
He said, we have taken many mega projects for development of the country. But in those mega projects large scale corruption was done. Corruption was done in the name of pillow purchasing, pillow cover and for moving pillow from ground floor to the upper floor.
