Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader has alleged that BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir is hiding the truth and delivering imaginary speech for political motivation.
On Friday in a statement he expressed strong protest and condemnation against the speech of Mirza Fakhrul delivered at a press conference.
Terming Mirza Fakhrul’s speech as political lying Obaidul Quader said, to solve the Rohingya crisis humanitarian and diplomatic initiatives of Sheikh Hasina government are much praised in the international arena. For her diplomatic efficiency and visionary leadership to solve the Rohingya crisis media of the world have termed Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina as ‘Mother of Humanity’. Besides, different heads of state, government and international agencies have extended full support to her steps.
He said, when Bangladesh’s diplomatic success is visible through the verdict of International Court, at that time the BNP Secretary General’s speech hints about anti-state conspiracy. When BNP came to power their foreign policy was nothing but genuflected foreign policy.
In the statement Quader said, the daughter of Bangabandhu Sheikh Hasina has given sign of efficiency in every aspect for running the government and has established Bangladesh as a self dignified state. The foreign policy of the country has been directed through father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s visionary policy –Friendship to all, malice to none.
He said, Bangladesh is going on through bilateral, trilateral and multilateral discussions to find out permanent solution to Rohingya crisis. In this regard Bangladesh is vocal in the international forum including United Nations. Due to the government’s diplomatic initiatives pressure has been created on Myanmar on behalf of different countries of the world and International Court. Due to Bangladesh’s diplomatic success leaders of different countries visited the Rohingya camps. So, Mirza Fakhrul’s provocative speech will hinder the path of progress of solving the Rohingya crisis.
