On Tuesday, March 21, Bangladesh defeated Chinese Taipei in the final held at the Shaheed Noor Hossain National Volleyball Stadium.
In the final of the previous two tournaments, Bangladesh defeated Kenya.
This was the first All Asia final.
However, Bangladesh fell behind at the beginning of the match. But Bangladesh led by 20-14 points in the first half.
The hosts were more threatening and aggressive in the second half.
Bangladesh was the champion in the previous two seasons as well. By reaching the final, Bangladesh confirmed next year's World Cup.
Total 12 countries participated in the 11-day tournament.
