ICC Men's Cricket World cup 2023 event is scheduled to start in India on October 5, with the opening match between defending champions England and last edition’s runner-up New Zealand according to Geo tv.
Cricket lovers will see 10 teams fighting for the elusive title across 10 venues till November 19, with the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad hosting the tournament opener and the final.
New Zealand, England, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Australia, Afghanistan and South Africa all secured their place in the Cricket World Cup via a top eight position. Sri Lanka and the Netherlands went on to progress to Cricket World Cup 2023.
The opening match of the Cricket World Cup will start at 2:00 PM IST, with toss taking place at 1:30 PM IST.
