'Tamim should not return to national team'
While cricket's biggest teams have been busy building their World Cup squads over the past few months, Tamim Iqbal has been the talk of the town at Tiger's Cricket. This dashing opener is returning to the team with T20 World Cup, such news has also been published in the media.
But chief selector Gazi Ashraf Hossain Lipu announced the 15-member squad at a press conference in Mirpur on Tuesday (May 14). Where Tamim Iqbal's name is not there, it is normal to not have it. Because the left-handed batsman has retired from T20 a long time ago.
However, BCB does not know the answer to the question of when Tamim will return to the country's jersey in ODIs and Tests. However, Tamim's former team-mate Imrul Kayes thinks that as Tamim has been left out of the national team, it will not be right to return.
Regarding Tamim Iqbal's return to the national team, former star cricketer Imrul Kayes said, I have spoken to Tamim personally, and he is not really enjoying the dressing room of the national team. Because, he is not getting the same respect in the dressing room as before. As long as he has played cricket, he has dominated, kept his level at one place. He retired from there and came back again. People don't take it very well after actually coming back.
