If the matches abandoned due to rain, how the result of the T20 World Cup match will be decided, the world cricket governing body-ICC has already informed. However, before the fight of Super Eight on the world stage, the topic of heavy rain is discussed again. Several matches were not played in the group stage due to rain. The matches were abandoned. This time Super Eight also has the same apprehension. There are three matches of Bangladesh in that list.

All the last eight matches in T20 World Cup will be played in West Indies. However, the hostile weather there is eye-catching for the participating teams. The Super Eight matches will be held in Barbados, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and Antigua in the Caribbean region. Rain is likely to be in these 4 places for the remaining days of June.

Sources of the local meteorological office say that the sky of Bridgetown will be covered with dark clouds for the next few days. There is also a chance of heavy rain on Friday (June 21). India-Afghanistan match will be played at this venue on that day. The forecasting website 'Accuweather' has predicted heavy rain in the remaining three venues of the Last Eight over the next week.

In the current World Cup, reserve days have been kept only for the first semi-final and the final. However, there is no reserve day for the second semi-final. Basically the match is scheduled according to the ICC playing conditions. If this match is abandoned, the finalists will be determined based on the points table.

Meanwhile, there is no reserve day for Super Eight. As a result, if the match is abandoned for any reason, both teams will get one point each. The favorite teams of the World Cup can again face the battle of the equation.

On the other hand, if the game is interrupted by rain, each team has to play a minimum of 5 overs to decide the result. But in case of semi-final and final, it will be 10 overs. And matches that do not have a reserve day, the result will be decided by DLS system taking into account the weather conditions.

It should be noted that the Super Eight phase of T20 World Cup will start from June 19. The top two teams from the two groups in the Super Eight will advance to the semi-finals. The top team of Group-1 will play against the runner-up team of Group-2. On the other hand, the champions of group 2 will play against the second team of group 1.
