Bangladesh team left the country to participate in the Women's Asia Cup held in Sri Lanka.
Nigar Sultana Jyoti and her team left Dhaka at 12:55 PM on Tuesday (July 16).
Meanwhile, Nigar Sultana Jyoti faced the media in Mirpur on Monday (July 15) before leaving the country. At this time, the Tigress captain also stated her goals in the Asia Cup.
The Tigress captain said, 'The last two series have gone badly, we have not won a single match. Then we had a long break, during which we played domestic cricket. Those who have done well there, we have brought them into the national team. In the last camp, I saw that everyone is in a good mood. We are now looking forward to playing good cricket.
It should be noted that Sri Lanka, Malaysia and Thailand are Bangladesh's partners in the 'B' group of this year's Asia Cup. Jyoti will face the Lankans on the second day of the tournament i.e. July 20. On the other hand, Nepal and United Arab Emirates are in Group A along with two arch-rivals India-Pakistan.
