BCB Announces Test Squad for India Series
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has revealed a 16-member squad for the upcoming two-match Test series against India, making only one change from the previous series.
Following a strong performance against Pakistan, the team remains mostly unchanged. Pacer Shoriful Islam is out due to injury, while wicketkeeper-batsman Zakir Ali has been called up in his place. This marks Zakir’s first call-up to the Test side, though he has previously played ODI and T20 matches for Bangladesh.
The series will begin on September 19 in Chennai, with the second Test set for September 27 in Kanpur. Both matches are part of the ICC Test Championship.
