After ending all predictions the World Cup squad of Bangladesh has been declared. The surprise is inclusion of Abu Jayed Rahi. Taskin Rahman and Imrul Kayes are dropped.
Chief selector Minhazul Abedin Nannu announced the world cup squad at a press conference at the conference room of Sher-e-Bangla national cricket stadium on Tuesday afternoon.
While talking about the reason of not including Taskin in the squad Nannu said, Taskin is dropped as he was not playing for long period.
Besides, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced 17-member team for the upcoming tri-nation series which is scheduled to take place from May 5 in Ireland. Nayeem Hasan, Abu Jayed Rahi and Yasir Ali Rabbi have taken their places in the one day squad through the tri-nation series.
The teams of World Cup can change players without ICC permission till May 23 in case of injury. After the timeframe it needs approval of ICC Technical Committee.
Bangladesh will begin their World Cup campaign with the match against South Africa on June 2 at the Kennington Oval in London.
