The Prime Minister said about the national budget for the financial year 2024-25, the government formulated this budget with the aim of fulfilling the fundamental rights of people by moving forward in a conservative way keeping in mind the current world situation.

The Prime Minister said this while delivering her address as the chair at a discussion organized on the occasion of the historic Six-Point Day at Bangladesh Awami League office, Tezgaon on Friday (June 7) afternoon.

Although inflation is high now, we have quadrupled rice production. We have increased the production of everything from fish, meat, eggs. As the production increased, the financial prosperity of the people also increased, along with the amount of food consumption of the people also increased.'

There we have been able to provide a budget of 7 lakh 97 thousand crore tk.

She said that the education, health, agriculture, domestic industry, social security have been given the highest priority in this budget to ensure the basic rights of people, which will improve people's lives.
