PM to visit China in July

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is likely to visit Beijing in July on a four-day visit, said Foreign Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud. The Prime Minister's visit to China scheduled from July 8 to 11.

The Foreign Minister made the remarks after a meeting with visiting Minister of International Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee Li Jianchao at a city hotel on Monday.

Trade, investment and inclusion of Bangladesh in BRICS will be given importance during the visit of the Prime Minister.

The foreign minister said the prime minister is more likely to visit China between July 8 and 11. China has an important role in many areas of development. We have expected that there will be significant progress in the Prime Minister's visit in the future. We're looking forward to this trip.

Foreign minister Hasan Mahmud said that the prime minister is going to visit China with a Bangladeshi business delegation.
