Meeting of Bangladeshi students about admitted to Russian Universities
A formal meeting was held at the Russian House in Dhaka regarding the quota-based Russian university admission for Bangladeshi students of the Russian Federation government.
Russian House in Dhaka organized a formal ceremony to issue passports with visas for admission to Russian universities to Bangladeshi students on 28 August,2024.
The Director of the Russian House in Dhaka P. Dvoychenkov wished the students success in their education in Russia, hoping they would return to Bangladesh as professionals in their fields and play a special role in developing their country.
Russia is a recognized global leader in training mathematicians, physicists, chemists, geologists, engineers, programmers, doctors, and specialists in other natural science fields. The Russian higher education system comprises over 750 universities and more than 650 specialties across various educational levels.
Modern Russia is a blend of Asia and Europe, where everyone can find a piece of home. Throughout its history, Russia has bordered many different states and peoples, absorbing their traditions and values, which has led to a rich ethnic and cultural diversity. Because of this diversity, applicants from any country can feel comfortable in their new country and adapt easily to student life.
At the meeting, students who received visas from the Russian government for their studies expressed their gratitude in an emotional speech. They thanked the Director of the Russian House in Dhaka and noted that they would return to their country after completing their studies in Russia and participating in its development.
In the second part of the event, students were shown the film 'Freedom of Conscience and Religion,' which explores the diversity of religious confessions and the necessity of peaceful coexistence among their representatives, along with several other films.
The event was held in a very warm and friendly atmosphere.
