The anti quota students protesting for quota reform withdrawn their blockade at Shahbagh after four hours. Protest processions will be held on all university campus across the country at 4 pm tomorrow protesting the attacks on different campuses today, the protesters said.

The students lifted the blockade by announcing a new program around 9 pm on Thursday (July 11).

Announcing the new program, Nahid Hasan, coordinator of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement, said, 'We will request all the university administrations to ensure the safety for students. Tomorrow we will hold demonstrations on all campuses across the country at 4pm protesting the attack on us.'

Hasnat Abdullah, coordinator of anti quota movement, said one thing has become clear in the partial verdict of the High Court. The High Court's partial verdict said that the government can reform the quota if it wants.

Earlier, he anti-quota students started gathering in front of the central library from 3 pm at Shahbagh demanding the cancellation of the quota system, breaking the police barricade.
