Anti-quota protesters announce Bangla Blockade on July 10
As part of the anti-quota movement, 'Bangla Blockade' will continue on Thursday (July 11). The protesters will continue to block important points of the highway.
Asif Mahmud, one of the organizers, made the announcement around 8:45pm on Wednesday (July 10). He said the blockade will start from 3:30 pm tomorrow.
Asif Mahmud said Bangla Blockade will continue across the country at 3:30 pm tomorrow. We will continue our movement on the streets until our demands are met. Blockades will be observed at important points in the country.
Meanwhile, protesters were gathering at Shahbagh from different points of the capital since evening. They blocked various important points in Dhaka while carrying out the program announced for quota reform. Leaving these points from 7pm, they started gathering at Shahbagh intersection.
After the announcement of tomorrow's program, they started leaving Shahbagh. Traffic then began to return to normal.
