State Minister for Posts, Telecommunications, and Information Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak publicly apologized for the failure to stop misinformation on social media and the disruption of internet services around the quota reform movement across the country.

He asked for forgiveness during a discussion meeting on Friday (August 2) afternoon at his residence in Natore. At that time, a prayer program was organized also executed by Singra Upazila Awami League to commemorate National Mourning Day.

Palak said, 'If I have done anything wrong to the young generation, I apologize publicly. I take responsibility for the internet disruption and failure to prevent rumors on social media. I promise to accept any decision of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

Mentioning the evil conspirators indulged in terror and murder, he said, anyway, efforts should be taken to remove the distance and misunderstanding that we have created with students and teenagers. It should be done from our homes, neighbors, and institutions. We have to understand students' language.

Pointing out the gap that has been created with the students, he said it is never possible to solve them by making difficult decisions, it should be solved by making the right decisions. I believe if we sit with them and listen to them with love and compassion instead of choosing the path of strict rule towards them, this misunderstanding will be removed.
