Students and people of different classes and professions have gathered at the central Shaheed Minar with a procession from different areas. The atmosphere there is tumultuous with slogans. It is as if there is no room for moles in the crowd. By 5:30 pm, the agitators were appearing with a procession.

On Saturday (August 3), the protestors started gathering at Shaheed Minar from 1:00 pm as announced by the anti-discrimination student movement.

It has been seen that the agitators from different areas have brought a procession to Shaheed Minar, many more coming. People of different classes and professions have joined them. They took a position in front of the Shaheed Minar and chanted slogans like 'Bangladesher jonogon, neme ashun neme porun', 'Diyechi to rokto, aro dibo rokto'.

At that time, the protestors who came to Shaheed Minar were seen holding placards saying 'Murderers will be prosecuted for genocide', 'my brother is in the grave, why is the murderer outside'?

Mahbubur Rahman, a college teacher from Jatrabari who came to Shaheed Minar, said, 'Even if the nine-point demand of the students is accepted, the government will start repression again after a few days. So many lives were lost due to their wrong decisions one after another. They have lost their right to be in power.'

It should be noted that the anti-discrimination student movement announced a new program yesterday (August 2) to protest the killings and 9-point demands by attacking the peaceful movement of students and citizens across the country. They called for a protest march across the country on Saturday and an Non-cooperation movement from Sunday.
