Govt Shaheed Suhrawardy College Student Abdullah Passes Away

During the anti-discrimination student movement, Md Abdullah, a student of the capital's Government Suhrawardy College was injured by the police and finally passed away today (November 14) morning.

He died while undergoing treatment at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) on Thursday (November 14) at around 9:30 am. Kazi Saiful Islam, teacher of Bangla Department of Suhrawardy College, confirmed the matter.

He said, Md. Abdullah is a fourth-year student of the 2019-20 session of Political Science Department of Govt. Shaheed Suhrawardy College. His house is in Benapole, Jessore.

Relatives said that during the last July-August movement, Abdullah was shot in the head by the police. He was undergoing treatment at CMH (Combined Military Hospital) neurosurgery department for the past three months after being shot. Doctors committed a brain surgery of him for better treatment. Later he died this morning while undergoing treatment.
