Dhaka return to normal rhythm
After several days of violence and unrest surrounding the quota reform movement, the capital started to return to normal rhythm. As part of this, movement of people and vehicles can be seen in different parts of Dhaka since Tuesday (August 5) morning. But the number of public transport on the road was very low.
It can be seen that the number of public transport except CNG rickshaws and private vehicles is less on the road since morning. Because of this, many people are leaving on foot. Shops are opening as the day progresses.
Mamunur Rashid, a private office worker going to Karwan Bazar from Mohammadpur said that there are fewer cars on the road. I am going to the office by walking some way, and by rickshaw some way. Hopefully, this will no longer be continued. Everything will be back to normal soon.
Alif Hossain, who came to Farmgate from Sheorapara, told the reporter, we face some problems due to the lack of cars. But it is temporary. This situation will end soon. We will once again get used to normal life as before.
Meanwhile, even though all the educational institutions are supposed to open today, the education program has not started properly anywhere. Most of the classrooms were empty. Even the school premises were empty.
Teachers say, there is still an impression of panic among everyone. So there is no presence of students in the classroom. It may take a little long time to get back to normal.
